Heriot-Watt University is the first British university to set up a campus in Dubai in 2005. Heriot-Watt University Dubai offers British education of the highest standard, an international study environment, and an extensive range of degree programmes. As a globally connected university with campuses in Scotland, Dubai and Malaysia, the learning outcomes and teaching standards remain the same wherever a Heriot-Watt student is located. The KHDA Higher Education Classification (in partnership with QS) has awarded five-star rating three years in a row in 2019, 2020 and 2021. The Dubai campus further enhances the student experience with a digitally enabled learning environment supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of programmes in Data Science, Computing and AI, Business, Accounting and Finance, Psychology, Architecture and Design, Construction and Engineering, and much more. Housing a dedicated student hub, a central Student Services Centre, enhanced library, and social learning spaces, a wide range of digitally enhanced classrooms, seminar rooms, studios, and laboratories the campus also houses a state-of-the-art robotarium as part of its mechanical engineering laboratory.

A merit-based scholarship in the bracket of 30% to 50% on the net tuition fee will be offered to students and staff from GEMS Schools Network. The scholarship will be applied on the net tuition fee of the first year of entry and will be equally divided among the total years of study. A guaranteed discount of AED 15,000 will be given to all students from GEMS Schools who do not qualify for any of the Merit Scholarship tiers for Undergraduate Programmes. The discount will be applied on the net tuition fee of the first year of entry and will be equally divided among the total years of study. This discount CANNOT be combined with any other scholarship including the merit scholarship. A guaranteed discount of 20% will be given to all staff of GEMS schools for all postgraduate programmes offered at the Dubai Campus. The discount will be applied on the total net tuition fee. Students need to submit proof that they are currently employed at GEMS. This discount cannot be combined with any ongoing discount offers.
