Established in 1988 as the first private university in the GCC, Ajman University (AU) has grown into a diverse, globally accredited institution of excellence. Since its debut in QS Rankings in 2018, it has risen an incredible 300+ places to rank among the Top 700 institutions worldwide.

AU was the first university in the UAE to admit expatriate students. Since then, our institution continues to be a pioneer for inclusion, innovation, and social impact. In the QS Arab Region Rankings 2023, AU was ranked #27 overall, and #1 for both international students and faculty. Creating stellar employment outcomes for its students after graduation, AU is also ranked second best in the UAE among private universities and third best among all UAE-based universities for employer reputation as per QS.

Each of AU’s 22 undergraduate and 13 graduate programmes offer academic rigour as well as hands-on experience. Our 9 colleges are focused on putting imaginations into action for the greater good. Ajman University will offer 100% scholarship for the first top student of the GEMS school over the first academic year of their study. The scholarship will only apply to the below-mentioned list of colleges:

- College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences
- College of Architecture Art & Design
- College of Engineering & Information Technology
- College of Business Administration
- College of Humanities & Sciences
- College of Mass Communication
- College of Law

Ajman University will offer 20% scholarships on tuition fees to the new students. Application fee waivers also available. Ajman University policies and procedures apply.
