HSBC World of Opportunity Programme
Exciting news Sports enthusiasts!
We’ve teamed up with HSBC bank to give 30 lucky students a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore what it would be like to work in the world of top-level sports through their World of Opportunity Programme at the 2023 Emirates Dubai Sevens rugby tournament. The winners of the competition will rub shoulders with industry pros and world class players at The Sevens Stadium, where they’ll take part in dynamic workshops covering a range of sports-related topics, from commentating to rugby writing to sports event planning.
The competition
For students aged 14-19 only
- Create a 30 second video in which you describe the area of sports you’d love to work in – and explain why. Be passionate, engaging, and convince us!
- We will select the best 30 entrants based on originality, creativity, and sticking to the brief above. Our judges’ decision will be final.
- Save your 30 second video in the naming convention Student first and last name_Class_School. Send us your video by midday Tuesday 14 November through the sign-up form below.
- Winners will be announced on Friday 17 November.
Parents to drop-off/pick-up children to/from GEMS Winchester School, Dubailand (near IMG), Dubai Transportation will be arranged to and from The Sevens Stadium
- Drop-off timing: 0830
- Pick-up timing: 1700
- Workshop timings: 0930–1600
Food and drink will be provided, no pack lunches needed!
